Chapter 54.1

Meanwhile in their auditorium as Mercedes comes back to the stage:
Mercedes: -Talking to Rene- Yes so this stage can definatively work. I can see many designs here. We have dances from competitions we can use. Uhm, but we would need to be able to use the aisles for some numbers to replicate some dances. They would then come up the stage.
Rene: Okay so that is for some numbers?
Mercedes: Yes. Now I see there are stairs on each end of the stage but is there a way to get a balcony build on top of a picture? I was thinking maybe having a place where the background singers who are not dancing can stay. Then we can have more room.
Rene: Uhm, we have the orchestra pit if that works.
Mercedes: -Walks over and looks at it- Uhm, it would have to be set up with some microphones. If we are going to use voices then we require it. But we should also have some places we can stand when we are not the main dancers. I know one number we are doing we have 2 main singers coming from the back to the front and then like behind them we have dancers/singers combined.

Rene: Right. Now, what type of mics are you planning to use? Headsets?
Mercedes: More likely because that is required. Uhm, definatively need to have these speakers set up. Some will need to be assigned to certain microphones. In the back we will want to have mostly the beat singers with the main singers harmonizing into them. It will all have to be tested and configured. But can we get a team started on designing the top board?
Rene: Pardon?
Mercedes: -Walks down the front of the stage- Where the curtain at the top is, I want that to be covered with a plaque saying instead Dalton-McKinley New Directions.
Rene: Okay, that works. We will have to set this up. Luckily we have the time.
Mercedes: -Smiles before looking around for some other changes they may need to make when she hears Sebastian-
Sebastian: Man, this is a big auditorium.
Mercedes: -Turns around and smiles- I am starting my designing process. Want to hear some of the ideas?/
Sebastian: -Turns to look at her and smiles- Sure, uhm, but you will probably do a great job. What are they though?
